Responsibilities
- Responsible, within the project team, for compliance with the applicable codes, standards and specifications in relation to Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control for suppliers and subcontractors for the project
- Responsible to check Quality documents for the project
- Responsible for coordination of inspections with suppliers, subcontractors and the client
- Responsible to support the project team with expediting activities
- Secure working methods are in accordance with the Quality and Safety Management Systems
- Ensuring an adequate knowledge level is maintained in the field of expertise. Developing knowledge and skills to be able to address current and future project and market demands
Tasks
- Attend project kick-off meetings
- Identify and review the applicable codes, standards and specifications in relation to Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Assist Project Team with regard to technical evaluation and clarification meetings with suppliers
- Assist suppliers, subcontractors to comply with the applicable codes, standards and specifications in relation to Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Drawing up Inspection Strategy document in cooperation with Project Team
- Processing and assessing supplier quality documents, such as Inspection and Testing plans, (Non-destructive) testing procedures, Hydrotest procedures
- Drawing up inspection reports
- Drawing up NCRs
- Drawing up release notes for main equipment
- Chair Pre Inspection meetings
- Execute intermediate and final inspections against established norms, standards and project specifications
- Inspection of fitup/assembly/progress in the workshop, welding, hydro testing of pressure containing equipment, witness run testing of rotating equipment
- Support the Factory Acceptance Test, in cooperation with Construction & Commissioning Engineer
- Represent Frames, towards the client, authorized third party, suppliers and subcontractors, during inspection activities
- Review manufacturing record books and ensure quality requirements are met
